REGENERATION THROUGH NATURAL BODY SUBSTANCES
PRP autologous blood therapy (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and the newer PRF method (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) are proven approaches in aesthetic medicine. They are used both for skin rejuvenation and to stimulate hair growth or treat hair loss.
How does autologous blood therapy work?
After a small amount of your own blood is drawn, it is processed in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets (thrombocytes) and growth factors. These components are responsible for the regeneration of the skin and hair follicles and promote collagen production. By injecting the prepared plasma into targeted areas, hair is strengthened and the skin becomes more elastic and firm.
An advanced version of the well-known PRP treatment is Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) therapy. The collected blood is centrifuged at a low speed (700 revolutions per minute). The result is fibrin that is rich in platelets. Compared to the PRP method—which is centrifuged at 3,500 RPM—the PRF serum still contains stem cells, valuable proteins, and growth factors.
