WHAT IS SCULPTRA?

Sculptra is a collagen booster—a modern biostimulator for the skin.

Collagen supports our skin. Having enough collagen is important for skin quality and elasticity. Starting at age 25, we lose about 1% of our skin’s collagen each year. The result: over time, the skin becomes thin, wrinkled, and saggy. Collagen boosters help counteract this process.

Sculptra is based on poly-L-lactic acid—a synthetic substance very similar to the body’s natural lactic acid. Unlike other substances like hyaluronic acid, it is not a simple filler. While it does bind water, SCULPTRA® mainly stimulates collagen production. This leads to increased skin elasticity, a fresher appearance, and even deeper wrinkles can be successfully treated—long-term. SCULPTRA® is the strongest collagen booster available on the market.

Treatment

The new collagen produced by SCULPTRA® treatment results in a long-lasting, wrinkle-free effect. After the treatment, new collagen forms within 6 to 12 weeks, plumping and firming the skin from within.

Depending on age, multiple sessions are needed:

  • Age 30 to 40: 1 to 2 sessions, spaced 3 to 4 months apart
  • Age 40 to 50: 2 to 3 sessions, spaced 3 to 4 months apart
  • Age 50 to 60: 3 to 4 sessions, spaced 3 to 4 months apart
  • After that, for all age groups: 1 maintenance session every 12 to 18 months

Costs

The cost of a SCULPTRA® treatment starts at €650 per vial:

  • Face treatment: approx. 2 vials
  • Neck treatment: approx. 2 vials
  • Buttocks treatment: approx. 4 to 8 vials
  • Décolleté treatment: approx. 1 vial

Pain

SCULPTRA® treatments are generally minimally painful. To make the procedure as comfortable as possible, local anesthesia can be used during the treatment.

Side Effects

The treatments are generally very well tolerated with minimal side effects. The most common reactions are mild pain, swelling, or redness at the injection site. These typically resolve on their own within a few days. Before each treatment, you will be fully informed about possible side effects. You can rest assured that our expert team will take the best care of you.

Which areas do we treat?

SCULPTRA® can be used on the face, neck, décolleté, and hands. It is also effective against cellulite.

  • Treatment duration: 30 minutes
  • Effect: Immediately visible, lasting up to 18 months
  • Anesthesia: Local anesthesia or numbing cream
  • Aftercare: None required
  • Downtime: None. In some cases, small bruises may appear, which can be easily covered with makeup and typically fade within a few days.
  • Post-Treatment Guidelines: Avoid sports, sauna, and direct sun exposure for 2 days after treatment.
